Dale Kreutzer’s RGS Southern District (Sn3)

Dale’s Sn3 layout depicts the RGS Second District from West Durango to Dolores, CO in the 1920’s. This rarely modeled area and era was known for its coal, lumber and agricultural traffic, as well as gold ore shipments out of May Day. The track is hand laid code 55 and 40 rail with Railway Engineering and Fast Tracks turnouts. Perhaps the best known feature of this layout is the spectacular photo backdrop taken on location in Colorado.
