Chuck Lee's Colorado Front Range Railroad (HO)

Chuck’s 1980s era, freelanced railroad represents the Burlington Northern (formerly the C&S) Beer Line from Denver to Golden, Colorado. Both the Rio Grande’s North Yard and Denver’s Union station are included. It occupies two basement rooms and has 3 levels, with the upper and lower levels connected by a 3 turn hidden helix

This is a point-to-point, operations-based layout, connecting the Coors Brewery with the Class 1 railroads at North Yard.  The Coors brewery has its own private railroad which is also represented. The layout has an ABS signaling system with full CTC control currently in the works, with computerized dispatching.  It uses Digitrax DCC for layout control and signaling. Highlights of the layout include the Conoco Refinery in Commerce City and the Coors Brewery Complex.

Chuck is also building a 1/29th scale outdoor railroad.  Check out both of his layouts on his website: Colorado Front Range RR
