Kitsap Live Steamers (7 1/2 inch gauge)

Kitsap Live Steamers is a group of scale, outdoor railroad enthusiasts operating a non-profit 7 1/2 inch gauge railroad at South Kitsap Regional Park. Departures are from our passenger depot near the Jackson Ave. play field, and riders traverse about 4000 feet of ground level railroad track, one trestle and one bridge.

Visitors are welcome to observe the preparation of live steam locomotives owned and operated by our club members. These locomotives are not toys; they are miniature steam locomotives that function exactly as their prototypes did in the 19th and 20th centuries.
