Puget Sound Model Railroad Engineers (HO)
at the Washington State History Museum (Tacoma)

The PSMRE model railroad represents Tacoma, Washington in the 1950s. Located inside the Washington State History Museum, the 25 x 95 ft exhibit area provides a compressed view of local landmarks from Tacoma's Asarco Tunnel to Stampede Pass in the Cascade Mountains and includes trackage and equipment from the Northern Pacific, Great Northern, Union Pacific and Milwaukee Road. In addition to being a public display, the model is used as an operating forum for PSMRE club members.

The owner is the Washington State History Museum (WSHM).  The club is contracted to build, maintain, and operate it. The exhibit is located on Level 5 of the Washington State History Museum, in Tacoma, Washington. It can be viewed during convention layout tour hours.
