Glenn Farley’s D&RGW 3rd Division (On3)

Glenn’s layout is an around the wall On3 point to point plan that attempts to capture the D&RGW’s 3rd Division operation from Gunnison, Colo. through the Black Canyon to Cimarron, in 1938. This  layout  features many scratch built and heavily modified kit built, prototype oriented structures, mountain scenery and site-accurate photographic backdrops. The centerpiece is the full size 11 stall Gunnison roundhouse that is over 5 feet across. The brass locomotives are heavily modified to be “rivet” accurate, some with scratch built tenders and parts. The modeling is exceptional. This is one of our newer layouts and is about 60% complete.
