Scott Buckley’s Tehama Valley Railroad (HO)

The Tehama Valley Railroad is a fictional short line set in Northern California in the late 1940s.  The TVRR interchanges with the Southern Pacific and another short line in the Sacramento Valley, then heads east into the Sierra foothills, where it primarily serves the lumber industry.  The first 20 miles are modeled, while the remainder of the railroad is represented by staging.  Five towns are being modeled that center around the agricultural industry, featuring many scratchbuilt structures.  The TVRR is 100% steam.  Work has begun on the maintenance facility, which will include a turntable and roundhouse.  The scenery that has been completed nicely represents that of the Sacramento Valley.
