Think Gilpin Tram in Washington State.  Large mining structures tower over the viewer, trains at eye level.  Everything is heavily kitbashed or scratchbuilt to large scale, and with the high benchwork, the viewer is very close to every model so they can appreciate the detail.  Five specific mine structures and two mill structures, plus an engine house and a water tank.  The layout’s only town has two warehouses, a machine shop, a tavern with sound and automation, a bank, and a doctor’s office. Nearly 100 scale figures, many with hand painted detailed faces and twenty-five period accurate vehicles.

Bonus: Outdoor Logging Layout
