Roger Nulton’s Monon RR (S)

This beautiful S scale, standard gauge layout represents a 100 mile segment of the Chicago, Indianapolis and Louisville railroad’s single track mainline. Most of the railroad’s freight business is bridge traffic, and this is well represented with six interchanges and two branch lines that generate limestone and coal traffic, as well as several sidings for shipping agricultural and other products.

The layout is constructed in a 1,200 square foot basement with branches encroaching into the garage. 180 feet of mainline is complete and includes 90 turnouts and 5 interchanges.

The Monon RR has a Company Song. Roger will not sing it for you for a small, extra charge.
